Three services, each clearly defined
Date and day quickset repair, sports model servicing, and a setting habits conversation. Transparent scope, transparent pricing.
Back to HomeHow work is handled at the bench
Each service begins with intake documentation and a magnification inspection before any work is confirmed. This means no piece enters the service sequence without the studio having looked at what is actually present inside. The inspection informs the scope, and the scope is confirmed with the owner before the bench work begins.
The studio works to a consistent set of standards regardless of the service type: calibre-referenced components, appropriate lubrication by surface type, multi-position timing where applicable, and a written condition summary at return. These are not premium additions — they are the baseline for how the work is done.

Date and Day Quickset Repair
A bench service for owners whose date or day quickset functions have begun to skip, fail to advance, or no longer engage with the crown's mid-position. The studio inspects the relevant setting wheels and yokes under magnification, replaces fatigued components with calibre-appropriate references, refits the keyless works with attention to clearance and engagement, and tests the quickset functions through their full cycle.
What is included:
- Magnification inspection of setting wheels, yokes, and detent components
- Calibre-appropriate replacement of fatigued parts
- Keyless works clearance and engagement adjustment
- Full quickset cycle testing through date and day functions
- Written condition note at return
Wristwatch Service for Sports Models
A bench programme tailored to sports and tool wristwatches, which typically combine higher levels of water resistance with daily-wear robustness. The work covers full movement disassembly, cleaning, replacement of fatigued components, lubrication with appropriate oils, reassembly with multi-position timing, renewal of gaskets at crown, caseback, and where present pushers, and a basic pressure check on supported designs.
What is included:
- Full movement disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
- Replacement of mainspring and worn components
- Surface-appropriate lubrication at all friction points
- Multi-position timing adjustment on timegrapher
- Crown, caseback, and pusher gasket renewal
- Basic pressure check on supported designs
Watch Setting Habits Conversation
A short informational conversation in which an owner discusses with the studio the everyday habits that affect a piece's long-term condition. Topics include winding routines for manual-wind pieces, considerations around use of date quicksets near the day-change hour, and small adjustments to daily wear that can reduce strain on keyless works and complication mechanisms. The session is informational only.
Topics covered:
- Manual-wind crown handling and winding stroke routines
- Date quickset safety window and day-change avoidance
- Crown position and its effect on water resistance
- General handling adjustments for daily-wear pieces
Which service is right for your situation?
Use this guide if you are unsure which service applies. Pieces sometimes need more than one; the studio will indicate this after inspection.

Applied across all services
Magnification-based assessment
All keyless works components are assessed under bench magnification. Wear that is not visible with a loupe is often visible with magnification; this step cannot be skipped without risking an incomplete condition picture.
Surface-specific lubrication
Moebius 9010, 8000-series watch oils, and Lubeta greases are selected by surface type and load. Application is via calibrated oiling tools. The wrong lubricant type accelerates wear rather than reducing it.
Owner data handled with care
Enquiry and contact details are kept only for the duration of the service. They are not used for marketing or shared with third parties. See the studio's Privacy Policy for full details.
Written condition documentation
Every piece receives a written condition note at intake. The return summary details what was found and what was done. Replaced components are listed by type and, where possible, calibre reference.
Scope confirmed before work
No additional work is undertaken without the owner's knowledge and agreement. If the inspection reveals wear beyond the initial scope, the studio will contact the owner before proceeding.
Postal logistics support
Out-of-state owners receive packaging guidance before sending a piece. Return packaging is handled by the studio using tested materials. Registered post and tracked courier options are both supported.
